Rod Stewart Postpones Second Show

Days after postponing a Canadian concert due to travel issues, he was forced to postpone a show in Cincinnati due to “an unforeseen but minor medical procedure that required prompt attention.” Hours before Sunday’s showtime, a social media post from the venue said it had been postponed, but “Rod is expected to make a quick recovery and looks forward to returning to Cincinnati.”

New Radicals Surprise Single

New Radicals have surprise-released their first new song since 1998. ‘One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)’ reunites songwriter Gregg Alexander and longtime collaborator Danielle Brisebois. Despite the enormous hit ‘You Get What You Give’, Alexander became disillusioned with life as a touring frontman and stepped away from the spotlight after the band’s 1999 tour. Backstreet Boys Millennium Residency

Backstreet Boys were scheduled to wrap up their Millennium residency at Sphere Las Vegas this month, but now have announced 3 New Year’s shows: Dec. 31, Jan. 1 and 2. Since the group launched the residency in July 2025, they’ve performed for more than 750,000 fans over 47 sold-out shows.

Heart World Tour

It’s been 10 years since they put out a new album, but Nancy Wilson reports that a new record is complete, and “It really feels like a Heart record.” She says the group will also embark on a world tour, and a Heart documentary and the long-in-the-works Heart biopic are also on their way.

 

Rush Has No Plans for New Music

When asked about the possibility of making new music with the recently reunited lineup featuring new drummer Anika Nilles, the 73-year-old responded: “No. We have enough to do. We’re still trying to remember the old songs and play them!”

Fleetwood Mac Reunion Teased?

Are reunion winds blowing again? Former guitarist Lindsey Buckingham said: “Next year should be a pretty interesting year, because I think quite a few things will reveal themselves.” He recently mended fences with Stevie Nicks. We do know that the upcoming Apple Fleetwood Mac documentary is on its way. 2027 is the 50th anniversary of the iconic “Rumours” album.

Whitney Houston Barbie

On Aug. 9, which would have been her 63rd birthday, Mattel released the Barbie Signature Whitney Houston Doll, which celebrates her “record-breaking career, legacy and timeless music”, according to the company. RUSH the Rock Hall Weekend

Next month, centered around the band’s 2 scheduled performances in Cleveland, the Rock Hall of Fame will host “RUSH the Rock Hall Weekend”. Green Day TV Live Stream

Green Day has launched “Green Day TV”, a 24/7 live stream on YouTube featuring “music videos, live performances, and archival…unseen footage captured across recording studios, music video production, tours, backstage content, and beyond.” The immersive vault experience sprang to life ahead of this Friday’s theatrical premiere of the group’s new film project “Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy”.

Foo Fighters Are Playing Where???

Foo Fighters have released a new live EP “Foo Fighters Are Playing Where??? Vol. II.” It features 6 songs, recorded in the spring during last-minute club shows at Irving Plaza in New York City and the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ, which were arranged to celebrate the release of their album “Your Favorite Toy.” You can listen exclusively via the band’s Bandcamp. Proceeds go to charity.

Ozzy Osbourne Universal Haunted House Attraction

Ozzy Osbourne will be the subject of the new Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness haunted house at Universal Studios theme parks during this year’s annual Halloween Horror Nights. It will join the raft of other haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights, including ones dedicated to Evil Dead Burn, Hellraiser, Season 5 of Stranger Things, and Sinners

Black Sabbath Member's First Solo Album Since '05

Guitarist Tony Iommi will release “From the Dark”, his first solo album since 2005, on Oct. 23. It features Norwegian singer (and Dio soundalike) Jørn Lande. The Beatles New Box Set to Drop in October

A new box set focusing on their 1965 album “Rubber Soul” will be released Oct. 2. It’ll include new stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes of the album, plus 20 previously unreleased takes and 3 previously unreleased home demos: ‘Day Tripper’, ‘We Can Work It Out’, and a John Lennon demo for a tune called ‘Little Girl’.
