Zak Starkey Sets the Record Straight

The Who's Ex-drummer, Zak Starkey, says he had a phone call with singer Roger Daltrey following his recent sacking. Quote: “We kind of left it there- On good terms and great friends as we have always been. Gotta love these guys.” The two sides had disagreed on whether he had been fired, or “retired”.

Billy Joel Won't Back Down

Despite his recent diagnosis of the brain condition normal pressure hydrocephalus, People reports a source as saying that he has no plans to pack it in. Quote: “He is happiest while performing. Music is, has been and will always be his life. He’s not ready to retire.”

VetsAid Charity Concert Location

Joe Walsh has announced the date and location of the 2025 edition of his annual VetsAid charity concert. It’ll happen at his hometown of Wichita KS on Nov. 15. He posted on Instagram, “There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like …” Info about this year’s lineup and tickets has not yet been announced. ZZ Top Tour Announcement

ZZ Top has announced the 51-date North American Elevation” tour, set to begin June 1 in Victoria BC. It is currently scheduled to wind up Oct. 10 in Terre Haute IN. The Texas trio were the busiest classic rock band on the road last year, beating road warriors such as Judas Priest, Styx and Journey with 99 shows.

Lenny Kravitz Home Tour

Lenny Kravitz is giving fans a peak inside his Parisian home. He gave Architectural Digest a video tour of his mansion, named Hotel de Roxie after his mother, Roxie Roker. The tour shows the home’s grand entrance, complete with a custom Steinway grand piano, the petit salon and grand salon, bedrooms, library, dining room – and his home studio.

Pink Floyd Remastered

Their visionary 1972 concert film “Pink Floyd At Pompeii – MCMLXXII,” from director Adrian Maben, will return to theaters this spring in remastered form, with a physical release set for May 2 in a variety of formats. The film has been digitally remastered in 4K from the original 35mm footage, with enhanced audio newly mixed by Steven Wilson.
