Jon Bon Jovi on Former Guitarist

In a recent podcast appearance, he was asked to describe his relationship with former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. His answer, in part: “You would be lucky to call him your friend, and I mean that, talented beyond, beyond as a guitar player, as a singer, as a collaborator…Couldn’t ask for more.” But he also remarked: “My heartbreak with him is the way he walked out on us.”

 

Twisted Sister Tour

Twisted Sister has announced the first show of their recently-announced 50th-anniversary reunion tour. The group will perform at Barcelona Rock Fest, which takes place from July 3-5. Also on the bill are 3 German metal bands: Accept, Helloween and Powerwolf.

Led Zeppelin Announced Black Friday EXCLUSIVE!

Monday, the group’s website and social media channels announced “A replica of the Trampled Underfoot 1975 UK promo single will be released on vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday, on November 28.” But soon afterwards, all details of the announcement were removed. The original 1975 “Trampled” promo single is a much sought-after collector’s item.

Fleetwood Mac Has No Plans to Reunite

Fleetwood Mac has debunked rumors that they’ll reunite at J.K. Rowling’s birthday party. After reports began circulating over the weekend that Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood would perform at the “Harry Potter” author’s party in November, a rep for the band told Rolling Stone: “This is categorically false. It’s not in the realm of true.”

 

The Cranberries... Unplugged!

The Cranberries have announced the first-ever standalone release of their “MTV Unplugged” performance. It will drop on vinyl, CD and digital platforms on Nov. 7. It was previously exclusive to the 30th anniversary limited-edition vinyl reissue of 1994’s “No Need to Argue”, which was released in June.
It includes stripped-down renditions of ‘Zombie’ and ‘Linger’.

Rolling Stones - New Music Incoming!

Producer Andrew Watt has confirmed that the group is working on new music. Quote: “It’s like working for Batman. When the tongue (logo) is up in the air, you just go…I can say we did some recording together, but that’s all I can say.” Mick Jagger has said that the group recorded enough material while making 2023’s “Hackney Diamonds” that “we are two-thirds through the next one.”

Madonna: Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor

Madonna is back with the label that made her a star, and is teasing new music. On IG, she wrote: “Almost 2 decades later — And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF – Pt. 2 2026.” (short for “Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2”)

Taylor Swift, Back at it Again with more STUFF.

It’s official! “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” will launch in theaters on October 3, the same day her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” drops. The cinematic event will include the premiere of the first music video from the album, for the single ‘The Fate of Ophelia’.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience Rerelease

Jimi Hendrix Experience's 1967 second album “Axis: Bold As Love” will be re-released in expanded form on Nov. 7. The box set includes 40 alternative versions, unreleased takes, demos, live tracks and TV appearances. There’s also a new immersive Dolby ATMOS mix of the entire 13 song album. Available now is a demo of ‘Stone Free/Up From the Skies’.

Foreigner Wants to Play at T-Swifts Wedding!

Foreigner has offered to play at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. The group posted a message on social media reading:

 

“DEAR TAYLOR SWIFT AND TRAVIS KELCE, WE KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. WE SPENT 40 YEARS FIGURING IT OUT… AND NOW YOU GUYS HAVE TOO. PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS OUR FORMAL OFFER TO BE YOUR WEDDING BAND. BEST WISHES, FOREIGNER”.
