Richmond Mayor Ron Oler; Wayne County Area Chamber President Melissa Vance and County Commissioner Jeff Plasterer join Dave to talk about Richmond on a Roll. The initiative to get a gaming casino built in our area. https://www.richmondisonaroll.com: "A casino in Richmond would support community-focused economic development in Wayne County by creating new jobs, increasing local revenue, and maximizing tourism revenue at nearby businesses. If approved, the project would also contribute new resources that may be directed toward local priorities such as public services, infrastructure, and long-term community investment. Any potential benefits, however, would depend on a structured approval process. The proposal would require state authorization, opportunity for residents to weigh in through a public vote, and regulatory review. These steps are designed to ensure the project is evaluated carefully and reflects the community’s priorities."

Vince is already a member of the Indiana State University Hall of Fame, Indiana Football Hall of Fame and now on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame, and now, coming up September 6th prior to the Eastern Illinois v Indiana State Sycamore game at Memorial Stadium in Terre Haute, he'll have his #26 retired. The first number in the Sycamore football history to be retired.

Remembering the late, great Brian Wilson

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson has died. He was 82. He formed the Beach Boys with his two brothers, Carl and Dennis, his cousin Mike Love, along with friends, David Marks and Al Jardine. Brian became one of hit music's best producers after making the band a success and was considered one of the great pop songwriters of all time. Dave was joined on-air by a Beach Boys/Brian Wilson expert who talked about his impact on the music industry and his legacy. That expert, by the way, happens to be his daughter Gillian Paxton!
