Bruce Springsteen Drops a 50 Year Old Outtake

Monday, August 25th is the 50th anniversary of the release of his seminal album “Born to Run”, and to mark the occasion, he released ‘Lonely Night in the Park’, an outtake tune that never made the record. According to a post on Instagram, the song, which has spent “5 decades in the vault,” can now be enjoyed “in full studio quality as it has never been heard before.”

Coldplay's Jumbotron Song Continues

Since introducing the “Jumbotron Song” into their setlist last year, the band has performed the improv-based bit at more than 80 shows. And despite it becoming the center of a cheating scandal starring the CEO and HR exec from Astronomer, Chris Martin doesn’t plan to stop doing it. He told a UK audience: “We are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you.”

The romance of the century has officially gone next-level. Taylor Swift and NFL superstar Travis Kelce are engaged, and the world erupted when the pop superstar dropped the bombshell on Instagram today. In a playful, heartfelt caption, Taylor announced: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”  yes, you read that right!

123 Tracks, 90 Unheard: John & Yoko's New York Years Unearthed

 John Lennon & Yoko Ono – Oct. 10 is the release date of “Power to the People”, a 123-song collection chronicling their early years in New York City and their political activism. It will include 90 never-before-heard and previously unreleased tracks, including a new version of the 1972 album “Sometime in New York City”. Out now is a 1972 New York performance of The Beatles‘ ‘Come Together’.

Taylor's Vinyl Sold Out FAST!

Taylor Swift's latest countdown clock led to the unveiling Monday of 2 vinyl variants for her “The Life of a Showgirl” album, appearing on her webstore as “The Shiny Bug Collection.” Both new editions share the same cover art, with variations in the coloring of the title logo, and the vinyl for each is also a different color. Both sold out in less than an hour.

No More Flying Maracas at Oasis Shows

Liam Gallagher has announced he will no longer be throwing his tambourine or maracas into the crowd during shows. The announcement follows a recent incident at London’s Wembley Stadium, where a 42-year-old woman was injured. She caught Liam’s maracas, but was tackled by 2 men who wrestled it away from her.
