ZZ Top has added a coast to coast Canadian run to their “Elevation” tour, with special guests The Wallflowers. They will play 15 cities across 8 provinces next summer, starting June 1 in Victoria BC, and ending Aug. 23 in Richmond BC. Tickets go on sale today.

The Beatles Director Ridley Scott seems to have let it slip that the rumors are true that Paul McCartney will be played by Paul Mescal in the upcoming 4-part biopic of the group’s members, from Sam Mendes. Scott was asked if Mescal, who stars in “Gladiator II”, would appear in his next film. He answered that Mescal is “doing the Beatles next. So I may have to let him go.”
