Ozzy Osbourne is one of several notorious artists to join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2024. Though this is not his first time being inducted into the Hall of Fame, he was also selected in 2009 The inductee ceremony will take place on October 19th at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH.

“Let It Be,” the film that documented their final performance before spending 5 decades in the vault, is getting a new life on Disney+, after a restoration job by Peter Jackson. It’ll debut on May 8. It follows Jackson’s Emmy-winning 2021 docuseries “The Beatles: Get Back,” which used footage originally shot for “Let It Be.”
Bandmembers’ relatives are dueling in lawsuits in a long-simmering feud that threatens to torpedo a planned Netflix movie starring Pete Davidson as singer Joey Ramone. Guitarist Johnny Ramone’s widow is suing Joey’s brother for allegedly trying to cut her out of the film and the band’s merchandising deals. The brother, Mitchel Hyman claims the movie isn’t a band biopic.
Dave Matthews Band is atop the leaderboard in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame fan voting, which ends today. At last check, DMB had over 563,000 votes, with Foreigner second, less than 1,000 votes ahead of Peter Frampton’s 506,000.

Rolling Stone Ron Wood made a surprise appearance at their Friday show in LA, joining them for a rendition of Faces’ ‘Stay With Me’. Before bringing him onstage, Chris Robinson told the audience they were about to be joined by a man who “doesn’t need an introduction but he’s going to get one.”
Deep Purple and Yes have joined forces for a North American run, starting Aug. 14, a part of Purple’s “One More Time” tour. Both acts will visit material from all eras of their 50-plus years together, as well their most recent albums. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Morrison (of Billy Idol’s band) have announced their new internet TV show, “The Madhouse Chronicles”. Launching this month, Morrison said on Osbourne’s podcast that the pair will “sit back in the Osbourne madhouse, reacting to the wildest Internet clips and diving into topics like aliens, drugs, conspiracies, and rock and roll.”

Dee Snider claims that offers for the band to reunite have become close to impossible to reject. He said light-heartedly that band members have begun “very general discussions…involving personal trainers, diets, hair extensions.” They last toured in 2016.
“Shameless” star Jeremy Allen White will play him in the upcoming film “Deliver Me From Nowhere”, chronicling the making of the Boss’ stark 1982 album ‘Nebraska’. It’ll be written and directed by Scott Cooper. Shooting will begin this fall.
Foreigner will not be completely done at the conclusion of its current farewell tour. Bassist Jeff Pilson said in an interview that the group will be doing “some shows” in 2025. In addition, the group recorded a new live album last week. No word on a release date for that.

A never-before-heard Michael Hutchence solo single ‘One Way’ has just been released, put together by friend and producer/musician Danny Saber, he said it is “the culmination of nearly 2 decades of work” on unreleased material, including demos and song ideas that were discovered in a locker in London in 2006.
Axl Rose sings on an upcoming charity song also featuring Elton John, and a bevy of other stars. The Who drummer Zak Starkey posted that he and GNR bassist Duff McKagan “cut bass for a cover of t.rex children of the revolution”. Later, his dad (Ringo Starr) added drums and Slash played guitar, before “Axl killed it – amazing vocals”. There are plans for an entire album.
The rare B-side “United States of Division” has been released digitally for the first time, to mark the 20th anniversary of his “Musicology” album. It is a protest tune written during the Iraq War era, which came out in 2004 as a virtual B-side for ‘Cinnamon Girl’.
For the first time ever, fans will be able to see never-before-published photographs of Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love and their daughter. A new photo book, “Family Values: Kurt, Courtney & Frances Bean” comes out June 4, featuring about 90 unseen shots taken at their home for a SPIN cover story shoot in 1992. Only 6 of the photos were ever previously published.
Bonnie Tyler's 1983 hit ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ saw Spotify searches skyrocket by 50% in the US in the past week, leading up to todays solar eclipse. Also, as of Saturday, the song ranked #62 in iTunes downloads. During the 2017 eclipse, she sang the song aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship with the band DNCE, featuring Joe Jonas.
