Foreigner Musical Coming in April

The jukebox musical based on their music is set to open in April. The previously announced production “Feels Like The First Time – The Foreigner Musical”, will run April 17-26 at the Little Theatre on Long Island University’s Brookville campus. The production, set in 1985, will tell the tale of a suburban family who wins an MTV contest with a prize of a visit from a rock star, including a backyard concert.

Heart Teases Another Album

 Nancy Wilson wants to make one more Heart album, and then hit the road. She said she has some new “songs going on”, and “This is the perfect time for Heart…to make a victory lap out of our legacy. So, I figure we need to make one more Heart album.”

Backstreet Boys Residency

The boy band, who are in the midst of their residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, are aiming to be next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show entertainers. AJ McLean quote: “I just started an online petition on behalf of the group for us to do halftime 2027.” Nick Carter says their performance would be a “pop explosion” also featuring Britney Spears, 98 Degrees and *NSYNC.

Melissa Etheridge Drops New Single

Melissa Etheridge has dropped the new single ‘Bein’ Alive’ from her upcoming album “RISE”. She calls it an uplifting tune “with themes of love and hope”, in which she “wanted people to feel what rock and roll feels like.” LINK: https://tinyurl.com/2n9eeaka

 

Paul McCartney's Latest

Paul McCartney has released a new video for the classic Wings track ‘Let ‘Em In’. It features archival footage of McCartney and the band. A new Wings anthology, titled ‘Wings’, was released in November. McCartney will also release a 12-song companion album to the new Wings documentary “Man on the Run” on Feb. 27, featuring 3 previously unheard songs. LINK: https://tinyurl.com/38ehhnbf

Anti-Hero, But Make It Bedding

Taylor Swift is asking the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to stop a bedding company from registering a trademark for “Swift Home”, saying the name and styling could lead shoppers to assume the products are connected to her. Swift’s team argues the logo resembles her trademarked signature. What do you think? It's giving From Love Story to Court Story!
