Elton John AIDS Foundation Partners With TikTok for World AIDS Day

This must be why Elton John recently joined TikTok!

The Elton John AIDS Foundation and TikTok are teaming up to raise awareness about the disease through a campaign and live event for World AIDS Day set for Dec. 1st.

This important event will air on John’s TikTok channel featuring the singer and husband-filmmaker David Furnish along with performances by Sam Smith, Sam Fender and Rina Sawayama.
Things kicks off Wed. (Nov. 25) with an HIV/AIDS Education & Awareness quiz to test TikTokers’ knowledge of the disease.

The hope is to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030.

“We all need to care about HIV and end the discrimination around this disease,” John said in a statement. “There’s a great lineup for our TikTok Live to break down the myths around HIV, talk about safe sex and ensure that young people know how to protect themselves and others.”

Prince's 'Purple Rain' Tour Bus Up For Auction

You might want to break the bank for this auction item!

The famous tour bus that Prince and The Revolution used in 1984 for the 'Purple Rain' tour is headed to auction.

The bus can sleep six people, has a full size bath, kitchen and dining space. According to the listing, the 1983 Eagle Model 10 was custom-built and designed for Prince. There are purple accents throughout, and it has since been modernized with a Wifi sound system -- including a Denon receiver and Sonos amplifier -- a flat-screen TV and a Blu-ray player.

Mecum auction says the tour bus is in excellent shape! It was only used once after Prince was done with that tour.  It's been safely stored indoors all this time.

It's listed on Mecum as part of a lot of collector's cars that will be sold in Houston on Dec. 3-5. There's no mention of the starting bid or what is expected to be the selling price.

Sean Connery's Ashes to Be Scattered in His Beloved Scotland: 'That Was His Final Wish,' Says Widow

We will forever remember the iconic James Bond actor Sean Connery who died on Oct. 31 at his home in the Bahamas.

His wife of 45 years is planning his memorial.
“We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland, that was his final wish,” Connery’s widow, Micheline Roquebrune told the Scottish Mail.

“We would like to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland – that is our hope. But we cannot say when this will happen exactly."

Coronavirus restrictions are making things difficult.

“He wanted his ashes to be scattered in the Bahamas and also in his homeland," she continued, adding that his family would like this to happen just as soon as the coronavirus restrictions allow.
His ashes will then be kept safe "until we can travel and we do not know when this will be possible.”
