(Laurel, IN)--There was a shooting in Franklin County on Tuesday morning.  It happened at a home in the 25,000 block of Chapel Road near Laurel.  A resident of that home fired at least one shot at a man who was trying to get into the home.  The man who was shot was taken to University Medical Center in Cincinnati.  Injuries were initially described as non-life-threatening.  Investigators believe the two men knew each other and it was not a random incident.  No arrests have been made so far.
