(Darke County, OH)--Back in 1997, Darke County’s Joseph Whitesel was convicted of raping multiple children.  The court, at that time, also labeled him a habitual sex offender.  Now, 29 years later and after having spent ten years in prison, Whitesel is accused of doing it again.  Whitesel has been charged with three new counts of rape.  According to charging documents, the incidents took place from the start of this year and April and involved a child under the age of ten.  Whitesel’s bond has been set at half a million dollars.
