Preble County officials say 911 service was partially restored yesterday after a countywide outage caused by an equipment and network failure with BrightSpeed Phone Company. Lines were “in and out” through late morning yesterday as calls were rerouted to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. Residents were urged to stay on the line if they dialed 911, with dispatchers confirming all calls would still be answered.
