A Randolph County man faces up to 12 years in prison after being charged with child molesting.

Court documents show 36-year-old Jacob Anthony Beane was charged Monday in Randolph Circuit Court with a Level 4 felony. Authorities allege Beane improperly touched a juvenile girl in Lynn between 2019 and 2020, when the victim was under the age of 12.

Investigators say Beane denied all allegations during an interview last month, but deputies were unable to reach him following that meeting.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Beane, who also faces an unrelated domestic battery trial scheduled for February.
