(Winchester, IN)--Bond has been denied for the woman charged with striking and killing Lynn Town Marshal Brad Fisher during a police chase in July.  Earlier this week, public defenders for Maci Atkinson asked that bond be set, ostensibly so that she could potentially be released from jail before trial.  But, in a ruling that was issued Wednesday, the Randolph Circuit Court Judge found that prosecutors met the burden required to keep Atkinson held without bond.  That trial is currently set for late January, although it will almost certainly be pushed back.
