Joe Winters Picks the Oscar Winners

February 24th, 2017 05:24am

Our Production Director, Joe Winters, is a movie guru. Dare I say, a "connoisseuir," but I can hardly spell it. (Thanks, Google.) We talk with Joe in this unedited, extended interview about the 2017 Oscars, movies that do and don't come to Richmond, and the value of a library card. Joe is retiring this spring and he will be remembered for his passion for movies, wit, and overall frustration working 40 years with people less intelligent than himself. We hope this isn't the last time we drag him into the studio, but I'll need to make sure there is plenty dessert and coffee in order to get that to happen! You might wonder what's the deal with the photo we used. Joe doesn't take a lot of photos and isn't on Facebook, so I thought I'd Google "Joe Winters, Richmond, Indiana" and that photo was fthe first one that popped up. Seriously funny.
