(Hagerstown, IN)--Investigators have come up with an identity on the human remains that were found in a Hagerstown-area farm field more than two months ago. 30-year-old Trevan Winterton had been reported missing in late August. On Wednesday, Wayne County Sheriff Jeff Cappa confirmed that the remains were Winterton’s. DNA testing confirmed the identity. There is still no word on how Winterton may have died, how long he was dead before being discovered, or if anything else was found at the scene. The remains were found in a field across from Hagerstown Community Park.
