Extreme has announced the new album “Six”, out June 9. The first single ‘Rise’ is out now. The group’s 6th album and first in nearly 15 years was inspired by the death of Eddie Van Halen. Nuno Bettencourt (most recently seen playing guitar for Rihanna at the Super Bowl halftime show) said: “I felt some responsibility to keep guitar playing alive. So, you hear a lot of fire on the record.”
