(Fountain City, IN)--Five full days after the fact, Northeastern Wayne school administrators finally on Wednesday issued a statement to parents about the status of high school principal Wes Wisner. An email to all parents said that Wisner was placed on paid administrative leave until further notice. The statement did not say what prompted the action. Kicks 96 and the Point News has spoken with several sources close to the situation. All indicate that it’s not the first time in this young school year that disciplinary action has been taken against Wisner. Those sources indicate Wisner was effectively suspended last month with no explanation given to teachers and no notification given to parents. Northeastern administrators have not returned three days’ worth of calls to Kicks 96 and the Point News.
